What you will do

• Develop electrical design packages for low and medium voltage switchgear under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Assist with CAD-related activities, including drawing updates, redlines, and schematic revisions.
• Create and maintain accurate part descriptions and BOMs within the ERP system.
• Support the shop floor team with technical documentation and design clarifications.
• Organize and maintain engineering documentation and reference materials.
• Review existing part records to correct inaccuracies and ensure consistency with design standards.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or Technology Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for electrical design.
• Experience reading and producing electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, and wiring diagrams.
• Working knowledge of UL standards, NEC, and CEC.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to design accuracy.
• Must be able to work on-site at the Jacksonville, Florida facility.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in a custom switchgear, MCC, or power distribution manufacturing environment.
