What you will do

• Assemble, evaluate, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and apparatus.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment using appropriate spare parts and servicing.
• Review wiring blueprints, conduct maintenance repairs, and rectify system failures.
• Operate medium voltage electrical systems and identify faults or hazards.
• Run tests on generators and backup systems and deploy upgrades of electrical components.
• Document and escalate technical problems to the management team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of industrial medium voltage experience.
• Three years of general electrical troubleshooting knowledge.
• Ability to obtain CPR/AED training.
• Physical ability to work in heavy personal protective equipment (Level 4 arc flash suit) in high temperatures and lift up to 30lbs.

Nice to have

• Experience with National Electrical Code (NEC70), NFPA 70B, and NFPA 70E standards.
• Knowledge in reading single-line electrical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
• Experience with electrical metering and testing equipment (Megger, High-Pot, ground fault detector, VLF, IR camera).
• 3+ years of experience with electrical maintenance of industrial facility systems up to 15kv.
