AV Installation Technician (Audiovisual)

What you will do

• Perform physical installation of displays, projectors, loudspeakers, and equipment racks.
• Execute cabling terminations and conduct testing for all wire and connector types.
• Read and interpret functional design drawings, cable riser diagrams, and architectural plans.
• Build and wire custom equipment racks including power strips and grounding bars.
• Provide daily feedback to project managers and site superintendents regarding progress.
• Maintain organized job sites and ensure proper documentation of work performed.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel to job sites.
• Minimum one year of experience as an associate technician or related industry experience.
• Proficiency with power tools and basic carpentry skills.
• Knowledge of low voltage electrical concepts and audiovisual equipment.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 40 pounds and work in construction environments.
• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
