Senior Customer Success Specialist (Financial Audit)

Location: Coppell, Texas, United States; normal office environment. Travel requirements exceed 10%, and candidates may be required to appear onsite at a hirify.global office during the recruitment process.

Salary: $71,300–$124,500 USD annually, plus eligibility for a bonus.

What you will do

• Own customer relationships across onboarding, adoption, renewal readiness, and advocacy.
• Guide audit and accounting customers on workflows, compliance considerations, best practices, and process optimization.
• Build and maintain Customer Success Plans covering business objectives, use cases, success metrics, milestones, and timelines.
• Monitor customer health, adoption, engagement, support trends, and milestone progress; identify churn risks and lead data-driven interventions.
• Coordinate Sales, Support, Professional Services, and Product teams around customer priorities and challenges.
• Lead Executive Business Reviews, support renewals and expansion, resolve complex issues, and share customer insights for product and process improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of external financial audit experience in a public accounting firm or similar environment.
• Working knowledge of audit methodologies, workflows, regulatory requirements, compliance considerations, and CPA firm operations.
• Foundational knowledge of Tax and Accounting concepts and experience with CCH products or similar software.
• Strong communication skills, customer-facing advisory experience, and the ability to lead conversations about Tax and Audit software.
• CPA certification or progress toward CPA is highly valued.

Nice to have

• B2B, SaaS, technology, or solutions-based environment experience.
• Experience with executive stakeholders, account management, or ownership of a book of business.
• Experience leading Executive Business Reviews.
• Familiarity with Customer Success tools and CRM systems such as Salesforce or Certinia.
• Experience contributing customer insights to product or process improvement initiatives.
