Technology M&A Director (Transaction Advisory): Leading end-to-end technology diligence and execution across the transaction lifecycle for Private Equity and strategic clients with an accent on enterprise platform assessment, AI readiness, and value creation. Focus on translating technical findings into executive-level investment insights and shaping post-deal integration and separation roadmaps.

Location: Hybrid (US). Must be based in the US and attend in-person at least three days per week at a GT office or client site.

Salary: $239,160 – $280,783

What you will do

• Advise Private Equity and strategic clients on buy-side and sell-side technology diligence, integration, and separation planning.
• Lead end-to-end technology diligence, assessing enterprise platforms, software engineering, cyber risk, and AI readiness.
• Translate technical findings into clear, executive-level insights tied to investment thesis and growth strategy.
• Partner with Financial Due Diligence, Cyber, and Strategy teams to drive continuity from diligence through value realization.
• Drive practice growth through account planning, opportunity shaping, and proposal development.
• Lead and develop high-performing teams while overseeing engagement economics and quality.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in technology diligence, technology M&A, or tech advisory roles supporting transactions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Industry recognized professional certification required (PMI/PMP, MA&P, or CPMI preferred).
• Proven track record of leading teams and managing complex engagements for Private Equity clients.
• Expertise in product-centric software engineering (SaaS, digital platforms).
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
