Location: Must work full-time on-site in El Segundo, California

Salary: $160,000 - $225,000

What you will do

• Design and implement complex FPGA designs targeting next-generation sensor products.
• Support system integration of FPGA designs with complex software systems.
• Perform the entire FPGA design life cycle including RTL design, simulation, place and route, and timing analysis.
• Support deployed FPGA capabilities for U.S. and international customers.
• Modify software drivers and applications to validate FPGA designs.
• Collaborate with small teams using Agile processes, CI/CD, and TDD methodologies.

Requirements

• U.S. Person status is required to access U.S.-only data systems.
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 5+ years of professional experience in detailed digital RTL design targeting FPGAs.
• Extensive experience with Verilog, SystemVerilog, and ARM AMBA AXI protocols.
• Extensive experience with AMD (Xilinx) Vivado Design Suite and SoC FPGAs (Zynq, Ultrascale, Versal).
• Experience with network and serial protocols (TCP/UDP/IP, I2C, JTAG, UART, SPI, CAN).

Nice to have

• Experience with baseband signal processing and translating algorithms from MATLAB/Simulink.
• Experience with Software-Defined Radios (SDRs) and high-speed PCB design.
• Knowledge of HLS synthesis, VHDL, and high-speed Ethernet IP blocks.
• Current or previous DoD security clearance.
• Experience with GPUs or AI engines.
