Salary: $120,000 – $225,000

What you will do

• Own the architecture and implementation of programmable logic systems for vehicle networking, RF, and real-time control.
• Implement architectures in RTL using VHDL and SystemVerilog.
• Verify and validate designs using simulation, bench-testing, and Hardware-In-The-Loop (HITL) testbeds.
• Support integration, testing, and troubleshooting across all spacecraft development phases.
• Develop tools and infrastructure to support rapid, high-reliability FPGA solutions.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Person (citizen, permanent resident, or protected individual) due to ITAR regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline or 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience working with complex FPGA designs in digital, mixed-signal, or RF applications.
• Proficiency in VHDL or SystemVerilog.
• Ability to work onsite in Seattle, WA.

Nice to have

• Experience with Xilinx SoC platforms, DSP fundamentals, and software-defined radios.
• Knowledge of high-speed SERDES interfaces (Ethernet, PCIe, JESD204C) and AXI protocols.
• Experience with Python, TCL, Bash, and Linux systems programming.
• Background in hard real-time embedded systems (bare-metal or RTOS).
• Experience with CI/CD systems and software verification methods.
