Salary: $260,000 - $382,000

What you will do

• Own the design, performance, and evolution of core algorithms powering Garner’s systems.
• Translate real-world healthcare and business constraints into optimization problems and scoring frameworks.
• Develop objective functions that balance quality, cost, access, and member experience.
• Evaluate system performance and refine logic through experiments and real-world outcomes.
• Collaborate with engineering to deploy scalable, interpretable, and resilient production systems.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience shipping data-driven algorithms to production.
• Strong proficiency in applying machine learning, optimization, and heuristics to solve complex problems.
• Proven ability to define performance metrics and deliver solutions that improve them.
• Strong communication skills to synthesize algorithmic ideas for technical and business stakeholders.
• Unable to sponsor or take over employment visas at this time.
