Project Manager

TL;DR

Project Manager (IT/Government): Delivering multi-discipline technology projects within a complex, matrixed program environment with an accent on project lifecycle management, scope control, and stakeholder coordination. Location: Hybrid role; must be able to commute to Los Alamos, NM. US citizenship is required due to government contract requirements.

What you will do

• Manage the full project lifecycle for multi-discipline IT projects of low to moderate complexity.
• Develop and maintain project charters, schedules, and management plans.
• Coordinate activities between functional teams, IT staff, and vendors.
• Identify and mitigate project-level risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Partner with business owners and SMEs to ensure project readiness and adoption.
• Translate technical concepts into accessible language for diverse stakeholders.

Requirements

• US citizenship required.
• 4+ years of project management experience in IT project delivery.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project or Jira.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Certification such as PMP, CSM, or SAFe preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience leading teams in hybrid Agile/Waterfall environments.
• Familiarity with government or federal agency project management.
• DOE Q security clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
• Technical writing and presentation experience.
