Principal Engineer - Senior Project Manager (ServiceNow): Leading the end-to-end implementation of ServiceNow modules for a client with an accent on project governance, fixed-price contract management, and stakeholder engagement. Focus on overseeing the project lifecycle, managing scope and budget constraints, and ensuring successful delivery of ITSM and ITOM solutions.

Location: Hybrid in New York City (2 days/week in office). Relocation assistance is provided.

Salary: $150,000 - $190,000 Gross (base + bonuses)

What you will do

• Oversee end-to-end ServiceNow implementations, including Incident, Change, Asset Management, CMDB, and ITOM.
• Manage project delivery under a fixed-price contract structure, ensuring strict scope control and financial profitability.
• Develop and execute detailed project plans, including milestones, RACI, and communication cadences.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the development team and the client, facilitating requirement gathering and executive briefings.
• Evaluate and manage change requests (PCRs), triage stakeholder issues, and oversee the UAT process.
• Supervise the development of training programs and ensure a smooth go-live transition with Hypercare support.

Requirements

• 14+ years of IT project management experience.
• Proven track record of delivering 2–3 end-to-end ITSM implementations in ServiceNow.
• Deep expertise in ITAM, CMDB, ITSM, ITOM, and custom workflows.
• Strong ability to deliver projects under fixed-price contracts with operational and financial control.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to New York, NY (Hybrid: 2 days/week in office).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or a related field.

Nice to have

• PMP, ITIL, or ServiceNow certifications.
