Senior Project Manager (Electronic Security)

Location: Virtual on a day-to-day basis, but must reside in or be willing to relocate to the US-Virginia Region

What you will do

• Lead delivery of physical security systems by managing implementation, coordinating teams, and ensuring compliance with specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
• Own project execution across the full lifecycle: initiation to closure, including cost, schedule, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Develop and manage waterfall schedules and project baselines; identify, qualify, and quantify deviations and communicate impacts to the client.
• Coordinate field verification and field documentation, including design review support and site condition documentation.
• Monitor financial health (budgets, costs, margins), proactively identify financial risks, and implement corrective actions to protect profitability.
• Coordinate commissioning activities (planning, execution, testing, documentation), manage punch lists after substantial completion, and facilitate client turnover and training.

Requirements

• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the US-Virginia Region
• 5+ years of project management experience in commercial construction trades/settings or experience with Electronic Security Systems (ESS)
• Proven ability to deliver waterfall schedules to fixed delivery dates while monitoring quality and profitability
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Understanding of how to apply Agile methodologies within a waterfall program to increase speed while controlling schedule risk
• Valid driver’s license in state of residence; travel up to 25% required
