TL;DR

Business Development Manager (Events): Managing and expanding a multi-market portfolio of event partnerships to integrate in-person experiences into the hirify.global app with an accent on scaled sales strategies and co-promotion deals. Location: Hybrid in Los Angeles, CA (in-office 3 days per week); approximately 20% travel required.

Salary: $120,000 – $139,000

What you will do

  • Manage a multi-market book of business, owning end-to-end relationships with event hosts.
  • Prospect and close new partnerships with local venues and event organizers using scalable sales approaches.
  • Secure co-promotion agreements to increase mutual visibility for hirify.global users and partners.
  • Create and iterate on market-specific playbooks to systematize sourcing and onboarding.
  • Utilize AI tools to accelerate outreach, event discovery, and relationship management.
  • Track and report on KPIs including pipeline volume, conversion rates, and partner retention.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or partnerships, ideally in events, media, entertainment, or consumer tech.
  • Proven track record of hitting and exceeding revenue, pipeline, or growth targets.
  • Experience managing multi-market or multi-vertical portfolios of partners.
  • Proficiency with AI and automation tools as a core part of the sales workflow.
  • Strong negotiation skills for closing deals with founders, promoters, and venue owners.
  • Must be based in Los Angeles, CA for hybrid work (3 days per week).

Nice to have

  • Experience in nightlife, live events, or local entertainment ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with co-promotion or co-marketing deal structures.
  • Background with Gen Z or millennial consumer brands.
  • Experience scaling sales or partnerships motions across multiple cities or regions.
