TL;DR

Program Manager - Release Management (Azure DevOps): Supporting end-to-end release management and governance for catalog-based offerings with an accent on Azure DevOps (ADO) workflows and stakeholder coordination. Focus on standardizing release processes, managing complex task hierarchies in ADO, and ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality releases.

Location: 100% Remote (Must be based in the United States)

Salary: $48.06–$50.96 per hour

What you will do

  • Support the full release lifecycle from intake and validation to release and post-release tracking.
  • Define and maintain Azure DevOps (ADO) structures, work items, iteration paths, and delivery timelines.
  • Standardize catalog release processes, asset updates, and go-to-market workflows.
  • Act as the central point of coordination across business, engineering, and operations teams to resolve risks and blockers.
  • Build and maintain ADO dashboards to provide leadership insights on portfolio health and active releases.
  • Manage release communication cadence, including updates, newsletters, and briefings.

Requirements

  • Azure DevOps (ADO) expertise (3+ years) in work item, backlog, and dashboard management.
  • Release or Program Management experience (5+ years) managing structured delivery lifecycles.
  • Process and workflow governance experience (3+ years) in structured environments.
  • Strong cross-functional stakeholder management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage dependencies, risks, and timelines independently.

  • Experience working in highly structured, process-driven environments.
  • Proven ability to operate with minimal supervision and drive execution proactively.
  • Experience performing system or data gap analysis and driving improvements.
  • Strong executive-level reporting and communication skills.
