What you will do

• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, industrial, and quality engineering teams on various operations projects.
• Design parts, assemblies, and fixtures using SolidWorks 3D CAD software.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma techniques to drive improvements in manufacturing quality, cost, and delivery.
• Analyze business and product concerns to determine logical, actionable solutions.
• Present ideas and project updates to cross-functional teams in a compelling manner.
• Contribute to a collaborative environment focused on achieving business goals.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Minimum completion of the first year of studies with a 2.5 GPA or higher.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently and take direction effectively.
• Must be available for the Co-op period from January 2025 through August 2025.

Nice to have

• Direct experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience in creating engineering changes and validation activities.
