What you will do

• Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical expertise on the manufacturing floor.
• Assist in developing capital projects, including installing and modifying equipment and optimizing plant layout.
• Execute continuous improvement projects focusing on safety, product quality, and waste reduction.
• Utilize root cause analysis, fishbone diagrams, and statistical process control to solve production issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including SOPs, process flow diagrams, and equipment specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance) to align processes with business goals.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering or a related discipline.
• Must be available for a full-time co-op from July to December 2026.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite in Germantown, WI.
• Demonstrated understanding and implementation of Lean fundamentals.
• Proficiency in office software for spreadsheets, documents, and presentations.
• Ability to pass background checks and required pre-employment testing.

Nice to have

• Relevant manufacturing engineering internship or co-op experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Solidworks software.
