Salary: $190,000 – $270,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Design and build database features that power AI applications.
• Tune performance and support reliability in distributed systems.
• Implement and optimize hirify.global's operation on major cloud providers.
• Collaborate with the R&D team to improve tail latencies, bytes throughput, and cache hit rates.
• Take ownership of technical features and grow within the database team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience programming in Rust, Go, C++, or a comparable language.
• Strong curiosity and passion for solving complex distributed systems challenges.
• Ability to approach problems with creativity and persistence.
• Must be based in or able to work in New York City (Hybrid).

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Comfortable thinking in async or multi-threaded environments.
• Proven track record of optimizing code for speed, reliability, or efficiency.
