What you will do

• Own the strategy and execution of training operations across all factory locations to ensure technicians are production-ready on schedule.
• Lead and develop a team of Training Operations Managers across multiple sites including Torrance, Mesa, and Muscle Shoals.
• Coordinate with Factory GMs and Program Managers to align training capacity with production ramp schedules and new capability launches.
• Establish and enforce global competency and certification standards across all manufacturing capabilities.
• Ensure compliance and audit readiness for AS9100, NADCAP, and government contract obligations.
• Manage headcount planning and produce reporting on workforce certification and readiness status.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, training, or workforce development.
• 3–5 years of experience leading teams across multiple sites and capabilities.
• Proven track record of scaling operational functions in technically complex, high-growth environments.
• Ability to engage with engineers and SMEs to evaluate training quality against manufacturing complexity.
• Experience managing compliance and audit readiness under regulated systems such as AS9100 or NADCAP.
• Must meet ITAR eligibility requirements (U.S. person).

Nice to have

• Direct experience in CNC Machining, Welding, or NDT.
• Background in high-stakes operational environments like military command, logistics hubs, or MRO facilities.
• Experience launching greenfield sites or new capabilities from scratch.
• Familiarity with skills matrix platforms like AG5.
