Location: On-site in Los Angeles, CA or Austin, TX. ITAR requirements apply: Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or eligible for U.S. Department of State authorization.

What you will do
- Own the strategy and execution of training operations across all factory locations to ensure technicians are production-ready on schedule.
- Lead and develop a team of Training Operations Managers across multiple sites including Torrance, Mesa, and Muscle Shoals.
- Coordinate with Factory GMs and Program Managers to align training capacity with production ramp schedules and new capability launches.
- Establish and enforce global competency and certification standards across all manufacturing capabilities.
- Ensure compliance and audit readiness for AS9100, NADCAP, and government contract obligations.
- Manage headcount planning and produce reporting on workforce certification and readiness status.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, training, or workforce development.
- 3–5 years of experience leading teams across multiple sites and capabilities.
- Proven track record of scaling operational functions in technically complex, high-growth environments.
- Ability to engage with engineers and SMEs to evaluate training quality against manufacturing complexity.
- Experience managing compliance and audit readiness under regulated systems such as AS9100 or NADCAP.
- Must meet ITAR eligibility requirements (U.S. person).
Nice to have
- Direct experience in CNC Machining, Welding, or NDT.
- Background in high-stakes operational environments like military command, logistics hubs, or MRO facilities.
- Experience launching greenfield sites or new capabilities from scratch.
- Familiarity with skills matrix platforms like AG5.
