Power BI Specialist

What you will do

• Elicit and document data visualization requirements from business stakeholders.
• Design and develop engaging, visually compelling Power BI dashboards based on technical requirements.
• Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams on data collection and data needs.
• Analyze requirements to assess feasibility, define scope, and identify risks and business impact.
• Partner with analytics experts, subject matter experts, and Data Engineers to pipeline data using Azure data services.
• Support data validation, implementation, and training throughout the delivery process.

Requirements

• Advanced English level.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in Data Management, or High School Diploma with 7+ years of experience in Data Management.
• Experience with data interrogation, data profiling, or data modeling.
• Experience operating in a fast-paced agile environment with strong communication skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with data visualization/analytics or other quantitative disciplines, especially during company growth stages.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI (preferred) or Tableau.
• Experience designing dashboards that support decision-making.
• Experience with ETL/ELT and data wrangling tools (e.g., Informatica, Data Factory, dbt, FiveTran) and languages (e.g., Python, R, Scala, Java, SQL, SAS).
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Data Lake, Synapse, Databricks, Cosmos DB, Power Platform, Azure ML, Power Automate, Power BI).
• Insurance industry experience.
