What you will do

• Manage and mentor a team of 8 software and QA engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Drive efficient engineering processes, standards, and resource planning to scale the team effectively.
• Oversee the development of backend systems and user interfaces using Java (SpringBoot) and Angular.
• Contribute to API design, data modeling, and the optimization of data operations for performance and security.
• Ensure the quality of deliverables through test-driven development and automated testing suites.
• Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and positive remote-first team culture.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder (no sponsorship provided).
• Must have resided in the US for at least the past 3 years.
• Must be able to successfully complete a US Government background investigation for Public Trust.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of professional work experience.
• Proficiency in Java (SpringBoot), Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS cloud services.
• Experience working on large-scale systems with over 100 users.
• Knowledge of FHIR standards.
• Familiarity with AI/ML technologies.
