What you will do

• Architect and maintain Java-based backend services for real-money iGaming platforms.
• Implement secure transactional flows including wagers, wallet interactions, and promotional features.
• Integrate game clients with internal RGS and platform services.
• Ensure high availability and performance of backend systems supporting live gameplay.
• Champion engineering best practices, conduct code reviews, and maintain high standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including math, design, and compliance to support game launches.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 5+ years of experience in backend or server engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, transactional systems, and cloud environments (AWS).
• Familiarity with microservices, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment.

• Prior experience in the iGaming or RGS industry.
