What you will do

• Create and implement high-quality production animation content in the game engine.
• Collaborate with Animation, Design, and Engineering to build new animation systems and maintain cross-discipline communication.
• Resolve technical issues for the animation team and proactively optimize production workflows.
• Ensure animation performance is optimized and fits within memory budgets.
• Partner with Tech Artists to develop tools that support the animation pipeline.

Requirements

• In-depth experience with animation systems in Unreal Engine.
• Strong understanding of game animation concepts like layering, blending, and state machines.
• Knowledge of Maya animation pipelines.
• Strong grasp of fundamental animation principles.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice to have

• Python scripting for Maya.
• Experience with stylized animation.
• Experience with fighting game animation.
