Location: Hybrid in San Mateo, CA (Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)

What you will do

• Design and build core diagnostic and reliability frameworks for the hirify.global engine.
• Develop systems to report intricate stability and performance details across mobile, desktop, and console platforms.
• Own the end-to-end observability space to ensure engineers can effectively monitor and action user experience disruptions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, and Product teams to define the strategic roadmap for engine reliability.
• Execute high-performance systems-level code that functions optimally at a massive global scale.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional industry experience with a proven track record of technical leadership.
• Exceptional proficiency in C++ and deep expertise in systems-level programming for large-scale environments.
• Extensive experience with at least one non-desktop platform (mobile or console).
• Experience managing systems where a 0.1% regression is considered a significant, actionable event.
• Must have United States work authorization (certain visa categories or future H-1B sponsorship may not be supported).

Nice to have

• Specialized experience in developing observability tools, crash reporting, or Application Performance Monitoring (APM).
• Data-driven approach with experience collaborating with Data Science teams for architectural decisions.
• Multi-platform expertise across several mobile or console ecosystems.
