TL;DR
Lead Developer Evangelist (AI): Defining and executing the developer community strategy for frontier voice AI models with an accent on technical content creation, reference app development, and community growth. Focus on bridging the gap between complex AI technology and developer adoption through public-facing builds, demos, and high-impact technical content.
Location: Must be based in the SF Bay Area and authorized to work in the US (no visa sponsorship available)
Salary: $180,000–$230,000 base + Equity

An AI startup backed by $9.6M in seed funding, specializing in frontier voice AI models delivered via cloud API or on-premise solutions.
What you will do
- Define and execute the developer community strategy from the ground up.
- Create original video content, tutorials, and demos for voice AI developers across relevant platforms.
- Act as the face of the company at hackathons, meetups, and industry conferences.
- Build and share open-source tools, reference applications, and public demos.
- Produce high-quality technical articles for the company blog and personal channels.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate developer feedback into the roadmap.
Requirements
- 4–8 years of experience in developer evangelism, DevRel, or developer-facing content at early/growth-stage startups.
- A proven public body of work (YouTube, X/Twitter, Substack, GitHub) with an existing developer audience.
- Technical fluency to build with APIs, debug webhooks, and explain voice agent stacks.
- Comfort and experience with public speaking and on-camera presentations.
- Must be located in the SF Bay Area.
- Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
