Credit Trader (Prime Finance)

TL;DR

Credit Trader (Prime Finance): Driving revenue growth and institutional adoption of the Prime Financing platform with an accent on structuring, pricing, and managing bespoke credit facilities. Focus on originating structured lending solutions, managing credit exposure, and delivering capital-efficient financing using digital assets.

Location: Must be based in the Cayman Islands, Singapore, Brazil, or Portugal. Note: Mandatory in-person onboarding process required for all new hires.

What you will do

• Execute and negotiate a variety of credit structures, including margin lending and collateralized loan agreements.
• Develop new credit documentation and structures as the loan portfolio evolves.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to qualify and structure credit opportunities to scale the lending business.
• Manage collateral across multiple venues to optimize utilization, yield, and funding.
• Create detailed operational memos and runbooks for funding facilities across CeFi and DeFi.
• Originate and manage key external funding partner relationships.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in credit trading or financial product structuring.
• Deep knowledge of crypto markets and financing, with experience at a top crypto platform preferred.
• Strong familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements for financial products.
• Proven ability to build cross-functional partnerships with legal, operations, and sales teams.
• Strong risk management acumen and experience developing control frameworks.
• Must be able to complete a mandatory in-person onboarding process.

Nice to have

• Ability to write scripts (Bash, Python) for process automation.
• Law degree or advanced degree in Financial Engineering.
• Up-to-date knowledge of crypto derivatives strategies and the DeFi ecosystem.
