What you will do
- Develop and execute the sales strategy for the government market business to increase qualified pipeline generation.
- Improve sales forecasting, pipeline visibility, stage management, and reporting.
- Support complex sales opportunities involving multiple stakeholders, formal procurement processes, and long sales cycles.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of six quota-carrying sales professionals, establishing clear performance standards.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to inform go-to-market strategy and product direction.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience leading quota-carrying teams within GovTech, B2B SaaS, or enterprise technology sales.
- Proven experience managing sales organizations with multiple direct reports.
- Demonstrated success leading complex sales cycles and navigating government procurement processes.
- Strong expertise in forecasting methodologies and sales operating cadence.
- Must be based in the United States.
Nice to have
- Experience selling into state and local government agencies or Health and Human Services markets.
- Proficiency with HubSpot or comparable CRM platforms.
- Experience working within private equity-backed or growth-stage software businesses.
