What you will do

• Operate and manage network equipment including hubs, routers, switches, bridges, servers, and transmission media.
• Configure, optimize, and maintain network infrastructure device operating system software.
• Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues and monitor performance and capacity.
• Develop and implement network backup, recovery, and contingency plans.
• Patch network vulnerabilities and establish security practices to safeguard information.
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of network configurations and changes.

Requirements

• Secret Clearance: Must have clearance to start.
• BS degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, or Software Engineering.
• 4-8 years of experience in network engineering and administration.
• Required Certification: CEH, CompTIA Cloud+, CompTIA Security+, GCIH, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP.
• Location: Must be based in or work on-site in Norfolk, VA.
