What you will do

• Design, implement, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure for scalability, performance, and resilience.
• Implement network security controls aligned with federal security standards and Zero Trust architecture.
• Manage routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewall edge infrastructure.
• Integrate monitoring, logging, and alerting with SIEM and network detection and response tools.
• Lead security assessments, audits, and compliance reviews.
• Perform root cause analysis for incidents and serve as a senior technical advisor for cybersecurity and cloud teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in network engineering within enterprise or federal network environments.
• Hands-on experience implementing Zero Trust principles, segmentation, and access control.
• Experience with centralized logging, vulnerability management, and system hardening.
• Proficiency in formal change control, documentation, and compliance support.
• Ability to meet federal screening and suitability requirements prior to start.
