What you will do

• Prepare daily P&L production, reconciliations, signoffs, and resolve issues.
• Support month-end close by accurately reporting and independently validating the bank’s balance sheet via complex reconciliations and journal postings.
• Produce analysis and in-depth commentary on P&L and balance sheet movements.
• Maintain a robust control framework for processes within remit.
• Handle ad hoc investigations arising from partner requests and support delivery of efficiencies.
• Build and maintain relationships with partners.

Requirements

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant.
• At least 12 months gaining knowledge of financial instruments.
• 12 months or more developing relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
• Numerate and competent with MS Office, with 12 months or more experience with Excel.

Nice to have

• Experience in Financial Control or Audit.
• Experience of SQL and Macros.
