What you will do

• Lead the delivery of key month-end close elements, ensuring accurate postings and high-quality balance sheet substantiation.
• Manage accounting for P&L and balance sheet areas, including month-end analysis, reconciliations, and variance commentary.
• Maintain financial models for month-end adjustments, including Intangible assets, EIR, and Share based payments.
• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual controls over financial reporting to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
• Implement AI and automation within BAU activities to enhance reporting processes during a General Ledger system transformation.
• Coach and support junior team members to build internal capability across accounting and close processes.

Requirements

• Qualified or nearly qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent).
• Strong experience in month-end close and financial reporting.
• Excellent numerical skills and strong proficiency in Excel/spreadsheets.
• Proactive problem-solving ability to investigate root causes and deliver structured solutions.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SQL, Anaplan, and/or Tableau.
