What you will do

• Process and allocate incoming rent and service charge receipts from tenants and landlords.
• Execute payment operations, including Direct Debits, refunds, agency fees, and payout files.
• Reconcile client bank accounts to internal ledgers and independently investigate discrepancies.
• Manage accounts payable for contractor/supplier invoices and utilities with correct property coding.
• Maintain precise financial records regarding income, expenses, and arrears at the landlord and property level.
• Support arrears management, credit control, and the production of monthly/quarterly reports.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in finance or payments operations within residential lettings with high transaction volumes.
• Proficiency in Excel for managing and filtering large datasets.
• Experience with accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks.
• Strong bank-to-ledger reconciliation capabilities and break investigation skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be based in the United Kingdom.
