What you will do

• Own the R&D operating rhythm, including progress tracking, research reviews, and milestone accountability.
• Coordinate high-priority research initiatives and rollouts, such as new tooling and data pipelines.
• Manage external data vendor relationships, leading due diligence, evaluation, and onboarding.
• Synthesize technical work into business narratives and presentations for senior leadership reviews.
• Prioritize initiatives to maximize PnL improvement and drive process efficiency across the research lifecycle.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in project management, business operations, or strategy, ideally in tech or finance.
• Track record of driving complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives from ambiguity to delivery.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to connect operational details to business impact.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be based in Chicago.

• Experience working with researchers, data scientists, or quantitative analysts.
• Familiarity with Python and modern analytical tools.
• Background in systematic trading or investment management.
