TL;DR
Senior Autonomy Middleware Engineer (C++/Robotics): Developing core autonomy frameworks for mining and construction equipment with an accent on middleware design, hardware integration, and production-grade C++ software. Salary: $112,710 – $183,140

What you will do
- Develop production-quality C++ software for autonomy frameworks.
- Support architecture decisions, requirements generation, and technical tradeoffs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and software solutions.
- Support functional safety software design and validation processes.
- Operate test benches and manage development tasks using Azure DevOps.
Requirements
- Must be able to work onsite in Mossville, IL full-time.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering/Science.
- Strong proficiency in C++ with experience in software application development and debugging.
- Experience developing in Linux environments.
- Familiarity with ROS (Robot Operating System) and core robotics principles.
- Experience with communication networks such as J1939, CAN, or Ethernet.
Nice to have
- Working knowledge of AI concepts and methodologies.
- Experience with device drivers and hardware diagnostics.
- Experience with non-volatile memory interfacing and board initialization.
