What you will do

  • Lead integration, deployment, and software readiness for autonomy applications on embedded platforms.
  • Design and maintain software infrastructure for integrating perception, behavior, and platform capabilities.
  • Drive root cause analysis for complex system-level issues across software, hardware, and networking.
  • Improve software integration workflows, automation, and tooling in partnership with Developer Enablement teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality and performance prior to release.
  • Mentor engineers and establish best practices for release engineering and delivery processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field with 4–6+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong C++ development experience in Linux-based environments.
  • Hands-on experience with ROS/ROS2 and modern development tools like Bazel, Docker, or Kubernetes.
  • Experience developing distributed software systems, robotics, or complex embedded systems.
  • Proficiency in Python scripting and automation.
  • Proven ability to drive technical initiatives and influence cross-functional teams in ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

  • Experience with SIL/HIL simulation and vehicle validation activities.
  • Background in building developer productivity tools or monitoring solutions.
  • Experience supporting large-scale software releases and operational deployments.
  • Technical leadership experience coordinating delivery across multiple engineering teams.
