What you will do
- Install, service, or upgrade equipment at customer locations onsite
- Diagnose technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and ensure effective functioning of equipment and controls
- Configure hardware and embedded software components after installation
- Perform routine maintenance and testing to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Train and guide customers on proper operation and maintenance; provide progress updates during service or downtime
- Maintain tools and manage replacement parts and equipment stock; mentor/train junior technicians
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to read technical diagrams, manuals, and schematics
- Experience diagnosing and repairing base-level equipment; ability to diagnose and repair mid-level equipment
- Ability to lift or move 50 lbs within OSHA guidelines
- Willingness to travel to customer sites frequently (up to 100%)
