Project Buyer (Automotive)

What you will do

• Interface with Product Engineering to define Bill of Materials and technical requirements.
• Manage the full procurement process, including sending RFQs, analyzing supplier bids, and sourcing new parts.
• Negotiate and execute supply agreements with selected vendors.
• Track performance against business case targets and project milestones.
• Provide material cost estimates to support the acquisition process.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Program Management and Engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Experience in the Tier 1 Automotive industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of engine component commodity markets and cost drivers.
