What you will do

• Manage the entire procurement process from initial RFQ to the start of production.
• Interface with Product Engineering to analyze electronics and mechanical Bill of Materials and requirements.
• Send RFQs to bid list suppliers, analyze results, and execute the sourcing process for new parts.
• Negotiate and execute formal Supply Agreements with selected suppliers.
• Track performance against business case cost estimates and project timelines once business is awarded.
• Provide material cost estimates for components to support the acquisition process.

Requirements

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese is a must.
• 2+ years of experience in negotiation and project management.
• Hands-on experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively on technical topics and understand technical drawings.
• Understanding of cost drivers and market dynamics in the electronic commodity sector.
