What you will do

• Champion the customer journey from pre-sales strategy through implementation and long-term adoption.
• Assess customer needs and strategic goals to ensure product viability.
• Design and deliver high-impact technical presentations and product demos.
• Manage pilot programs and POC evaluations to prove technical feasibility.
• Respond to technical sections of RFPs and vendor assessments.
• Act as a technical ambassador by writing blogs, conducting webinars, and speaking at conferences.

Requirements

• Must be based in Austin, TX
• Proven experience in Apache Kafka, PostgreSQL, or OpenSearch.
• Experience in technology, software sales, pre-sales, or consulting.
• Fluency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, or Ruby.
• Knowledge of public clouds (AWS, Google, or Azure) including compute, storage, and networking.
• Demonstrable experience with Linux operating systems and networking basics like DNS.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing proof of concepts for data services.
• Hands-on experience with search-engine ecosystems like Elasticsearch or Lucene.
• Understanding of streaming frameworks like Apache Flink or Spark Streaming.
• Familiarity with distributed storage, NoSQL databases, and data lakes.
