What you will do

• Diagnose and repair electronic assemblies to the component level using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.
• Analyze failed PCBAs from production and customer returns (RMA) to determine root cause.
• Document failure analysis reports and implement repair actions.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, and production teams to resolve recurring issues and improve yield.
• Develop and improve troubleshooting procedures and test fixtures.
• Maintain compliance with ESD, IPC, and safety standards during repair operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in troubleshooting and repair of electronic assemblies.
• Strong understanding of analog and digital electronics.
• Proficiency in using test and measurement tools (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, etc.).
• Experience with SMT and through-hole PCB assembly and repair.
• Ability to read and analyze electronic schematics and PCBA layout files.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and IPC-7711/7721 standards.
• Hands-on experience with automated test equipment (ATE) and JTAG/Boundary Scan.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis tools such as 8D or Fishbone Diagram.
• Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement certification.
