What you will do

• Conduct failure analysis to identify root causes of issues in manufacturing processes, products, and technologies.
• Execute lab work to evaluate electrical and mechanical characteristics of integrated circuits and components.
• Develop and implement advanced electrical, analytical, and mechanical FA methodologies.
• Investigate material-device interactions to understand fundamental failure mechanisms.
• Recommend corrective actions and drive the proliferation of shared learnings across global sites.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable new technology transfers and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Material Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Chemistry.
• Experience: 3+ years with a Bachelor's, 2+ years with a Master's, or PhD.
• Hands-on experience in failure analysis techniques, including defect detection and fault isolation.
• Proficiency in using electrical, analytical, and mechanical tools for failure analysis.
• Familiarity with analytical tools such as SEM, FTIR, or X-ray.
• Fundamental understanding of statistical analysis applied to manufacturing processes.
