What you will do

• Architect and develop core low-latency code in Rust for the Syncro platform.
• Optimize latency through validator submission paths, network routing, and node co-location.
• Implement high-performance algorithms and data structures to minimize time/space complexity and optimize memory layout.
• Lead multi-region rollouts on bare-metal and cloud infrastructure (GCP/AWS) near client trading venues.
• Ensure system reliability by eliminating single points of failure through HA and automatic failover.
• Set the technical bar for the engineering team through rigorous design and code reviews.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building production-ready distributed backend or infrastructure systems.
• Expertise in Rust (or C/C++/Go) with deep knowledge of OS-level performance, cache, and lock-free concurrency.
• Deep understanding of Solana internals, including validator/TPU, SWQoS, QUIC, and transaction landing.
• Strong proficiency in networking tuning (TCP/QUIC, kernel/NIC tuning) and production infrastructure (Linux, Kubernetes, IaC).
• Experience with PostgreSQL and RabbitMQ/Kafka in HA configurations.
• English: C1+ required; Must be based in Europe.

Nice to have

• Experience with Solana validator operations or the MEV ecosystem (relayers, bundles, block engines).
• Knowledge of other high-throughput chains such as SUI or Hyperliquid.
• Experience with real-time market-data streaming systems at scale.
• Skill in low-level profiling and benchmarking using perf or flamegraphs.
• Contributions to blockchain open-source projects.
