Software Engineer III

TL;DR

What you will do

• Develop basic to moderately complex code using front-end and/or back-end languages across multiple platforms for internal and external client software solutions.
• Analyze, modify, and develop moderately complex code and unit tests; perform testing and validation for code changes and address deficiencies.
• Participate in client-facing meetings and vendor/partner discussions to determine solution approaches.
• Support leadership in designing, developing, and enforcing business/infrastructure application standards, including PCI security compliance controls and monitoring.
• Provide billable hours and resource estimates for initiatives, projects, and issues.
• Assist with on-the-job training and provide guidance to other software engineers.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business/Management Information Systems, or related field.
• Typically 4+ years of professional experience in coding, designing, developing, and analyzing data.
• Advanced knowledge of one or more front-end and/or back-end languages/technologies, with moderate understanding of the corresponding other side.
• Experience working with APIs and external services.
• Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases.

Nice to have

• 6+ years of professional experience in coding, designing, developing, and analyzing data.
• Experience with IBM Rational tools.
