What you will do

• Develop and deploy predictive models for risk cost, demand, and price optimization.
• Translate complex model outputs into clear pricing recommendations for underwriting and portfolio decisions.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to source and structure data for modeling.
• Design and prototype analytical tools for business users such as underwriters and claims handlers.
• Monitor model performance and define requirements for recalibration.
• Mentor junior team members and lead analytical projects across the business.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of statistical and data mining methods, including GLMs and machine learning.
• Proficiency in Python and data visualization tools like PowerBI or Tableau.
• Ability to lead discussions with business stakeholders to drive data-informed decision-making.
• Must be based in or able to work from London or Stafford, UK.
• Experience in insurance pricing tools like Emblem or Radar is a plus.
