What you will do

• Define the data science and ML roadmap in partnership with the Director of AI and Technology.
• Design, train, and productionise ML models including classification, regression, and recommenders.
• Lead A/B automation testing and causal inference initiatives to ensure statistical rigour.
• Line-manage and mentor data scientists and graduates to foster a high-performance learning culture.
• Act as the primary point of contact for Studio, UA, Growth, and Finance leadership.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and platform policies like GDPR and COPPA.

Requirements

• Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
• 7+ years of applied data science/ML experience, including 2+ years in technical leadership or line management.
• Proven track record of deploying ML models into production that deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Expertise in Python, SQL, and cloud data platforms such as Databricks and AWS.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical results for non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in the games, mobile, or consumer-tech industries.
• MSc or PhD in a quantitative field.
