Technical Supervisor (Broadcast)

TL;DR

Technical Supervisor (Broadcast): Providing technical ownership of live sport and news productions with an accent on gallery delivery and UHD content orchestration. Focus on solving engineering incidents in real-time, configuring broadcast systems, and managing remote/cloud production workflows.

Location: Hybrid (3 days in Osterley office, London). Must have the right to work in the UK; sponsorship is not offered.

What you will do

• Provide first-line technical support for engineering incidents affecting gallery and production operations.
• Set up and configure galleries, studios, and equipment to meet broadcast standards.
• Route internal and external sources and liaise with OBs, remote productions, and MCRs to ensure content delivery.
• Perform signal matching, color balancing, and video level adjustments using measuring devices.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Travel to support OB technical rigs and operations as required.

Requirements

• Knowledge of broadcast technology, including Remote Production and HDR.
• Experience with broadcast standard equipment, such as camera and replay systems.
• Solid understanding of galleries, studios, and cloud-based production systems.
• Ability to remain calm and collaborative under pressure in live production environments.
• Appropriate right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not provided).
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to continuous self-improvement.
