What you will do
- Install, configure, and maintain server, storage, networking, and cabling infrastructure.
- Perform preventative maintenance and hardware repairs across data centre environments.
- Manage data centre assets, capacity, and utilisation using DCIM tools.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, connectivity, storage, power, and cooling issues.
- Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and business continuity initiatives.
- Maintain infrastructure documentation, configuration records, and incident reports while ensuring compliance with security and operational standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Data Center Engineer or in a similar infrastructure role.
- Strong experience with physical server infrastructure, storage systems, networking technologies, and cabling.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills across hardware, TCP/IP networking, power, cooling, Linux, and Windows environments.
- Experience supporting data centre operations, reporting, capacity planning, and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to document and explain technical concepts clearly.
