Salary: $170,000 – $192,000 + equity (RSUs)

What you will do
- Define and lead the long-term strategy and roadmap for core platform systems, including billing, payments, and internal APIs.
- Act as the primary Product Owner for platform initiatives, aligning engineering, architecture, and executive stakeholders.
- Lead discovery efforts for complex platform challenges using data, research, and business context.
- Develop and own API strategy and standards to ensure scalable and well-documented interfaces.
- Manage key external vendor relationships, including payment processors and third-party platform providers.
- Mentor other product managers to elevate product rigor and strategic thinking across the team.
Requirements
- Must be based in Canada.
- 10+ years of professional experience, including 7+ years in product management for software platforms or infrastructure.
- Proven experience in fintech, insurtech, or other regulated financial services environments.
- Track record of leading platform modernization or re-platforming initiatives at scale.
- Technical fluency in system design, distributed systems, and API ecosystems.
- Experience in vendor management, particularly with payment systems or data providers.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with insurance systems such as Guidewire or Duck Creek.
- Experience with payments infrastructure like Stripe or Braintree.
- Knowledge of P&C insurance products.
