What you will do
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of 6–10 product managers, including people managers.
- Define and execute the multi-year product strategy for foundational loan systems and global money movement infrastructure.
- Serve as the executive-level subject matter expert on payment rails, settlement flows, and loan lifecycle mechanics.
- Drive cross-functional alignment between Engineering, Accounting, Treasury, Legal, and Compliance.
- Develop platform strategies to standardize loan behaviors and unlock rapid international expansion.
- Define and monitor platform health metrics, including settlement success rates and reconciliation coverage.
Requirements
- 10+ years of product management experience, with 3–5 years managing PM teams (including people managers).
- Deep expertise in lending systems and loan lifecycle mechanics.
- Significant experience in payments infrastructure, money movement, and financial operations.
- Strong technical fluency in data models and API design.
- Proven track record of executing long-term platform strategy in ambiguous environments.
- Must be based in Canada
Nice to have
- Experience in BNPL, platform products, or backend infrastructure.
- Background in capital markets.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted tools like Claude or Cursor.
