What you will do

• Lead and coordinate substation projects up to 765kV through detailed design and Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) phases.
• Develop protection and control deliverables, including protective relays, panel arrangements, and AC/DC schematics.
• Create physical design deliverables such as yard layout plans, grounding, and lightning protection.
• Perform quality reviews of electrical substation design packages and mentor junior engineers.
• Prepare electrical equipment specifications and Bills of Materials (BOM) for procurement and construction.
• Coordinate project activities and present designs to clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
• Experience in high voltage (HV) substation design (Physical and/or Protection & Controls).
• Proven experience as a project lead or technical specialist overseeing QA/QC reviews.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office programs.
• Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding including criminal/civil background checks and drug screens.
