What you will do

• Own all aspects of the billing platform's configuration, optimization, and expansion to reduce manual intervention.
• Serve as the primary advisor for finance, product, and engineering teams on how new pricing and payment structures fit into the system architecture.
• Build and maintain comprehensive operational documentation, including runbooks, configuration guides, and process maps.
• Develop monitoring and alerting systems to identify and resolve data quality issues before they impact customers.
• Leverage LLMs and AI to drive operational efficiency for front-line collections and billing teams.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US (Austin, TX or Remote).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in billing operations, deal desk, revenue operations, or strategic finance.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with billing tools, CPQ platforms, Salesforce, or ERP systems.
• Direct experience administering billing platforms such as Ordway, Zuora, or Chargebee.
• Proven ability to scope and execute complex technical projects and platform overhauls.

Nice to have

• Salesforce administration experience or certification.
• Experience working with complex or non-standard pricing models.
• Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools beyond Excel.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and revenue recognition workflows.
