Compensation: $150,000 – $165,000 CAD

What you will do
- Lead and guide product development squads using an Agile mindset to drive software innovation.
- Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional partners, including Product Management, Design, and QA.
- Dissect complex business problems into robust and scalable system architectures.
- Mentor and grow engineers, fostering values of kindness, diversity, quality, and ownership.
- Take full ownership of software projects from scoping and estimation to production deployment.
Requirements
- Must be based in the US or Canada and eligible to work without sponsorship.
- 2+ years of experience as a direct manager of engineers in a product development environment.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience working in Agile teams.
- Proven track record of mentoring engineers and managing cross-functional product squads.
- Expertise in Agile software development processes, DevOps, and Lean approaches.
- Ability to communicate deeply technical topics clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Direct experience with Ruby on Rails, React, iOS (Swift), or Android (Kotlin).
- Experience managing engineers across multiple technology stacks simultaneously.
- Background managing teams in companies with multiple product squads sharing common infrastructure.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field.
